🌟 EVENT SPOTLIGHT: This is Us - Proud to Belong 🌟
We are absolutely delighted to share this fantastic upcoming event hosted by the brilliant Leeds SEND Youth Council!

To celebrate Disability Pride Month, they are putting on a wonderful, free celebration event right in the heart of Leeds. This is all about bringing our community together, raising awareness, sharing voices, and making sure that absolutely no one feels alone.

It is a completely free, drop-in event, so you can pop along whenever suits you!

📅 When: Wednesday 22 July 2026
⏰ Time: 10:30am – 2:30pm (Drop in anytime)
📍 Where: Kirkgate Market Event Space (Food Hall), Leeds

There is so much planned for the day, making it a friendly, welcoming, and accessible space for everyone:

SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) swims.

These sessions are aimed at swimmers with additional needs and or disabilities and their families. There will be a dramatically reduced capacity for this session for swimmer comfort and enjoyment. Spaces are limited so pre booking online is essential for this session. Tickets will go on sale 1 week prior to each session. Carers will be admitted free to this session but do need to book a free space. We will have additional lifeguards on hand should any swimmers need to use our water chair / hoist facilities. both pools will be available throughout the advertised session

1st August 18.00 - 20.00
