We are very humbled to have been able to present a cheque to Andy’s Man Club for £13,678.
In June, our sales team took on the Yorkshire Mighty Hike challenge of the Yorkshire Dales, trekking 26 miles - a feat that proved to be even tougher than expected.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers, suppliers, colleagues, family, and friends, the team raised an amazing £6,839. Crossroads then matched this total, bringing the overall fundraising amount to a fantastic £13,678.
Gareth Stone, Sales Director commented ““The event wasn’t just about fundraising; it was about starting conversations, breaking down barriers, and reminding people that it’s okay to talk and to ask for help. Following the tragic loss of a colleague’s family member the importance of mental health was brought into even sharper focus. Experiences like this reinforce why raising awareness, encouraging open conversations, and ensuring people know where to turn for support are so important”.
Darren Bland, Area Lead for West Yorkshire said “As a purely donation-led charity, donations like these are our lifeblood and will enable us to continue in our mission to reduce the rate of male su***de, by directly funding the opening and running of new locations nationwide. In 2026, we are observing the tenth anniversary of our founding, and the generosity of our supporters has seen us open 358 talking groups, run countless events and create a community far beyond what we believed was possible”.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and encouraged the team along the way. Together, we're helping to break the stigma around mental health.
