Julie is a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with 30 years of experience working mostly in the NHS.She previously worked as a Nursery Nurse for 8 years with pre-school and school aged children.Recently she has been working independently and is currently making a move to offer mostly a clinic based service.  She has a speciality in Bilingualism with a lot of experience in the Early years and with Neurodiversity/ASD.Other areas include; delayed/disordered communication, stammering, selective mutism, learning difficulties, speech sounds and grammar. Therapy also could include walking type of therapy where appropriate for an informal assessment and relationship building carried out outdoors in a green space.  In Julie’s spare time, she enjoys Yoga, swimming and walking and at home knitting and sewing.  Julie’s approach is child-centred focusing on the child’s individual needs along with providing support and guidance to Parents, carers and support staff. She likes to foster a team approach for the child to reach their full potential. Julie is offering a free phone or video consultation of up to 30 minutes to discuss needs and services. She provides short, medium and longer-term therapy, weekly or fortnightly.

Welcome to the Team, Liz Roberts!

We're thrilled to announce that Liz Roberts is joining STEM Physiotherapy as our new physiotherapist.

Liz graduated from the University of Bradford in 2022 with First-Class Honours in Physiotherapy and has since been working as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist in Bradford, bringing valuable expertise to our team.

Outside the clinic, Liz is passionate about health and fitness. She's an avid gardener and dedicated CrossFit enthusiast who is particularly passionate about empowering women to build strength and confidence. Her athletic achievements include completing a Half Ironman triathlon—a testament to her commitment to pushing boundaries.

We're excited to have Liz on board and look forward to the expertise and energy she'll bring to STEM Physiotherapy!
