If you're eligible, you can now get your free MenB vaccine.

MenB can cause serious illnesses like meningitis and septicaemia.

You may be eligible if you’re 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008, or if you’re under 25 and starting university or moving into residential further education for the first time.

Eligible 17 to 18-year-olds born between these dates can book online if they’re registered with a GP in England. Eligible under-25s can get vaccinated at a participating pharmacy – no GP registration is needed.

You'll need 2 doses, given at least 4 weeks apart, for the best protection.

Temporary Changes to Online GP Appointment Requests

Due to exceptionally high demand and increased waiting times for routine GP appointments, we may need to close our online appointment request service earlier than our usual hours to ensure we can manage requests safely.

Where possible, our online service will remain available from 8:00am to 6:30pm, but on particularly busy days it may close sooner.

If our online service is unavailable and you need urgent medical advice, please consider:

• Contacting NHS 111 (online or by phone)
• Attending a Minor Injuries Unit
• Visiting a Walk-in Centre, where appropriate

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we work to provide safe care for all our patients.
