August 2026 was always going to be exciting, full of annual leave and 40th birthday plans but I didn’t expect this!

This has somehow been the busiest month since I opened the clinic in March 2025! 🤯
Best present I could’ve asked for ☺️

The irony of this post isn’t lost on me. But I had to say something.

The endless online debates have, at times, left me—a specialist in this field—feeling confused and overwhelmed. So are they really helping the people they’re meant to?

Patients don’t need more calling out.

They need honesty.

Clinicians who can explain that, in healthcare, there’s rarely a simple right or wrong because, most of the time…

it depends.

In a profession that’s already so widely misunderstood, I’m worried we’re adding to the confusion instead of reducing it.
