With lots of fresh vegetables donated from Lidl in Richmond; clients at The Galleries cooked up a batch of homemade vegetable soup and enjoyed sitting in the garden with their Support Worker.

We recently said a sad goodbye to one of our Security staff in Richmond as Waj left to move on to a new career opportunity. Waj has worked at The Galleries for several years; ensuring our clients and hostel building remained safe and secure on a night and weekends. Clients presented Waj with a lovely card to say THANK YOU and GOOD LUCK!

🏊‍♂️ What an incredible achievement!

A huge congratulations to Shaun Cox, who recently completed an epic swim across Lake Windermere, England's largest lake, in support of Young Dementia Leeds.

Taking on this challenge alongside his friend Ryan, Shaun completed the swim after months of preparation. Reflecting on the experience, Shaun shared how the pair encouraged one another throughout the challenge, making the achievement even more meaningful.

Together, they've raised an incredible £8,585 so far, helping to support people affected by dementia across Yorkshire.

Every donation helps us continue providing vital support, information and opportunities for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
