Jungle Safari yoga next Wednesday 19th August at Yugen Yoga Studio in Leek.

Aimed at 5 to 10 year olds but can be flexible.

In the yoga camp we’ll be ‘Joggin’ thru the jungle’ with yoga poses incorporated into the song.
We’ll be practising lion breath, meditation and mindfulness through crafts including binoculars to look for animals in our ‘Joggin’ thru the jungle’ song.
We’ll also we making our own safari sunset pictures.
Relaxation will be a guided meditation about a sleepy sloth.🦥

The seahorses turned out amazingly! The children created their own patterns and designs on their seahorses and selected colours for their sea plants and rocks. I love how different they all turned out! ❤️

I’ll be running three yoga sessions over the summer holidays.
They are two hour sessions as the one hour always seems to fly by. This way the children are not rushed to finish and adults have more time for themselves as well.
Let me know if you’d like to book any spaces over the Summer.

I’ve created calm kits for the children who are leaving school this Summer to go to Middle School. They have bubbles for pranayama, squishy toys, slime and a pop-Pom which we use for a mindfulness game called Pom-Pom poppers. You throw the Pom-pom into the air and trying to catch it on the back of your hands. I have had most of these children for over 4 years so I will be sad to see them go but I know they have a lot of tools to help them transition and calm themselves if they need to. 🥰
