🌊☔ SEASIDE DAY UPDATE ☔🌊

Although the weather forecast isn’t looking very seaside-like this Thursday, our Seaside Day at Treetops Court is still going ahead! 🏖️🐚

We’ve made a few adjustments to keep everyone safe, dry, and having lots of fun indoors. Residents can still enjoy seaside-themed activities, games, treats, and plenty of holiday memories without needing the sunshine! ☀️❤️

We may not be able to bring the beach to the garden, but we’re certainly bringing the seaside spirit to Treetops Court! 🌊🐟🍦

We are so excited to open our doors and welcome residents, families, friends, and our wider community to a truly special summer celebration here at Treetops Court Care Home.

This isn’t just an event – it’s a chance to come together, share laughter, make memories, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon filled with joy, music, and togetherness. 💙

🌊🏖️ Just a little reminder that our Seaside Day is coming up this Thursday, 18th June! 🏖️🌊

We’re looking forward to bringing a little bit of the seaside to our residents, filled with fun, laughter, music, activities and plenty of opportunities to reminisce about holidays and happy memories by the coast.

Days like these are so special, creating moments of joy, encouraging conversation and helping make new memories together. We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying themselves and soaking up the seaside atmosphere.

This morning, our residents enjoyed a lovely walk to the park 🌳☀️

They spent time by the pond watching the ducks 🦆💦, taking in the peaceful surroundings and fresh air. It was a calming outing that supported wellbeing, gentle exercise, and sensory engagement 🌼💛

Everyone appeared relaxed and content, enjoying the change of scenery and morning together 😊🦋

As we prepare for our upcoming Summer Fair, we are kindly reaching out to our wonderful community to see if anyone would be willing to donate a prize for our raffle.

We would be incredibly grateful for any donations, big or small, whether it’s a gift voucher, hamper items, gifts, experiences, or anything else that could help make our raffle a success.

All proceeds from the Summer Fair will go towards enhancing the lives of our residents and supporting future activities and events within our home. 💛

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the family of the late Evelyn Stretch for their incredibly thoughtful kindness towards our Acorns Unit. 💛

They recently gifted a beautiful memorial plaque, a basket of treats for the team, forget-me-not seeds to plant in Evelyn’s memory, and a generous donation to our Residents’ Social Fund. 🌼🧺🌱

Evelyn was a much-loved lady and it was a privilege to know and care for her. She will always be remembered with great fondness by all who had the pleasure of spending time with her. 🕊️💛

We would also like to sincerely thank the family of Joyce on Chestnuts for their generous donation to our Residents’ Social Fund. 🤍 It was an absolute privilege to care for Joyce, who will always be remembered with warmth and affection by all who knew her. 🕊️

Both donations will help us continue creating special experiences, meaningful moments, and lasting memories for our residents. ✨

Thank you to both families for your kindness, generosity, and support. It truly means so much to us all. 💛

🎶 We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Katy Allan to Treetops today for an afternoon filled with music, singing, and smiles. 🎶

We are also very grateful to our care staff who got involved throughout, encouraging residents and helping create such a warm and uplifting atmosphere.
