You may or may not know that your chemist can give you prescribed treatment for 7 common ailments.
This is known as Pharmacy First.
The Government intends to add 5 more common ailments to the list for treatment.

A Community Health & Wellbeing Event is taking place on Saturday 5th September to help raise awareness of men's cancers.

There are talks and advice sessions taking place throughout the day on how to spot signs and symptoms, and why early diagnosis is important.

The event is being organised to raise awareness of men’s cancers, with a particular focus on prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

The aim of the day is to encourage open conversations around these illnesses, promote awareness of the signs and symptoms, and highlight the importance of early diagnosis.

A number of us will be delivering short talks throughout the event, sharing information about these cancers, discussing the impact they have on individuals and families, and encouraging men to seek medical advice promptly if they have any concerns.
