🫖🍰 A Very Special Tea Trolley! 🍰🫖

This afternoon our tea trolley had a very special twist! To make sure everyone could join in with our afternoon tea, we took a selection of delicious cakes around the home with the tea trolley so every resident had the chance to enjoy a sweet treat. ☕💛

The residents loved seeing all the extra goodies on offer and taking their time to choose what they fancied. The star of the afternoon was definitely the homemade lemon drizzle cake that the residents baked yesterday – it was a huge hit and went down a treat! 🍋🍰

Little moments like these bring so much joy, encouraging social interaction, offering choice, and creating a lovely afternoon for everyone to enjoy together.

This morning our residents enjoyed adding more to their scrapbooks, filling them with photos and looking back at all the wonderful activities and memories they made throughout July. 😊

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and conversations as everyone reminisced about the fun they had, the places they visited, and the special moments they shared together. It was lovely to see everyone reflecting on such happy memories. 💛

Scrapbooking is a fantastic way to encourage reminiscence, support memory, spark conversation, and give residents a keepsake they can look back on and treasure for years to come.

🍋🍰 A Slice of Fun in the Kitchen! 🍰🍋

This afternoon our residents rolled up their sleeves and got busy baking a delicious lemon drizzle cake! 👩‍🍳😊

As they measured, mixed, and stirred, there was plenty of singing and even a little dance around the table. The kitchen was filled with laughter, smiles, and the lovely smell of fresh baking. 💛🎶

Baking is a wonderful activity that encourages teamwork, conversation, and creativity, while also helping to develop confidence and reminisce about favourite recipes from years gone by.

Now for the exciting part... we'll be revealing the finished cake tomorrow, so keep an eye out for the results! 👀🍋

🌟 Wonderful Moments in the City Centre! 🌟

​We love making special memories with our residents, and yesterday was an absolute treat! Elizabeth enjoyed a wonderful 1-to-1 trip out to the city centre.

​She spent a lovely afternoon relaxing at her absolute favorite coffee shop, savoring some delicious food and a warm cup of coffee, followed by some delightful shopping. It was such a joy to see her smiling and enjoying the bustling atmosphere! ☕🛍️

There were plenty of laughs behind the scenes, proving that a little bit of silliness can brighten everyone's day. Sometimes it's the fun moments that create the best memories! 💛

🐄😂 Udderly Hilarious Morning! 😂🐄

This morning our residents were treated to a surprise visit from our two activities girls, who turned up dressed in inflatable cow suits! 🐮💨

To say it caused laughter would be an understatement! From the moment they walked in, the home was filled with smiles, giggles, and plenty of moo-sic to everyone's ears. Residents and staff were in stitches as the cows waddled around spreading happiness wherever they went. 🤣

It was an udderly brilliant morning that brought so much fun, joy, and laughter to everyone. Sometimes it's the silliest moments that create the most unforgettable memories, and this was definitely one of them. We were certainly not amoosed for a second! 🐄❤️

Laughter really is the best medicine, and today proved just how important it is to have a bit of fun together.

💅🌸 Weekly Pamper Morning 🌸💅

As always, our residents thoroughly enjoyed their weekly pamper morning! Everyone loved choosing bright, colourful nail varnishes while spending time relaxing and being treated to a little well deserved self care. ☀️✨

The morning was filled with lovely conversations, laughter, and new friendships. Residents enjoyed getting to know some of our newer residents, sharing stories, talking about their families, and learning more about one another. 💛

These pamper sessions are about so much more than painting nails. They help build confidence, encourage social connections, support emotional wellbeing, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued and included.

A wonderful morning full of smiles, friendship, and beautiful summer colours! 🌺
