Happy International Cat Day! 🐱💛
Today, our residents had a wonderful time celebrating our feline friends by creating some beautiful cat-themed artwork. From playful kittens to majestic cats, each picture was made with creativity, smiles, and lots of love.
Activities like these are a great way to encourage conversation, spark happy memories, and bring everyone together. We are so proud of the fantastic artwork our residents have created!

Our residents have been keeping busy with some lovely activities and creating wonderful memories together.
📚 To celebrate National Public Education Day, we enjoyed a creative craft session making beautiful handmade bookmarks. Everyone had the chance to express their creativity, and the finished bookmarks looked fantastic!
🍦 We were also delighted by a visit from the ice cream truck! Residents enjoyed treating themselves to a refreshing ice cream while spending time together outdoors, sharing stories, laughter, and making the most of a lovely summer afternoon.

What a fantastic day we've had celebrating Emoji Day! 😄📸 Our residents had lots of fun posing for photos in our colourful emoji picture frame, with plenty of smiles and laughter all around. 🥰🤩
We were also delighted to welcome some special furry (and shelled!) visitors, including adorable rabbits 🐰, guinea pigs , and turtles 🐢. They brought so much joy to everyone.
To top it all off, there were plenty of giggles during our balloon sword fights! 🎈⚔️ It was wonderful to see everyone joining in, having fun, and creating happy memories together.
A day full of smiles, laughter, and great company , just the way we like it! 💛

What a lovely week we've had! ☀️

We've had so much fun enjoying our Summer Fete, celebrating International Chocolate Day 🍫, playing lots of games, and taking time to relax together. We've also enjoyed watching the tennis, which sparked plenty of conversation and excitement! 🎾

It's been wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and special moments shared throughout the week. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such an enjoyable time!

What a fabulous week we've had! 🌸💜

Our residents have enjoyed a fun-filled week packed with activities and plenty of exercise. A huge thank you to Dan for another fantastic fitness session, keeping everyone active and smiling! 💪😊

We've also enjoyed lovely walks around our beautiful gardens, spent a relaxing morning making scented lavender bags, and, most importantly, shared lots of special moments together. It's these little moments that make every day so meaningful. 💐❤️

🎉 **Don't forget – our BIG Summer Fete is happening this Saturday from 2:00pm–4:00pm!** 🎉

We've had a lovely, relaxing week here at Woodheyes!

Our residents have been enjoying gentle jigsaw puzzles, spending time reading in the garden, and getting their hands dirty with a spot of gardening. We’ve also been busy picking beautiful lavender, which is now drying ready for some exciting crafting activities in the coming weeks. 💜

The sporting excitement has been in full swing too, as residents gathered to watch the matches, cheer on their favourite teams, and celebrate the spirit of competition together. ⚽

What a fin-tastic week we've had! 🐟🎨🎶

Our residents have been busy creating beautiful button pictures, showing off their creativity one button at a time! We were also treated to some wonderful entertainment from Jon the Music Man, with plenty of singing, smiling, and toe tapping along the way.

To top it all off, we celebrated National Fish and Chip Day in the best British way possible ,with delicious fish and chips enjoyed by everyone! 🐟

Not content with just eating fish, our talented residents also got crafty, creating some absolutely jelly fish tastic jellyfish, fish, and bucket pictures.

What a wonderful week we’ve had despite the heatwave! ☀️
We’ve been making the most of the sunshine by spending lots of time in the gardens, enjoying games, laughter, and plenty of fresh air!

To celebrate National Biscuit Day, everyone got creative decorating biscuits… although we can confirm more icing may have ended up on faces than on the biscuits themselves!

And just when we thought the week couldn’t get any sweeter… the ice cream truck arrived for residents and staff! 🍦🚐 Safe to say there were lots of smiles (and a few requests for seconds

This week our residents have had a wonderful time celebrating National Donut Week ,so of course we had to join in with a lovely donut station that went down a treat! 🍩

Alongside all the sweet treats, we’ve also enjoyed lots of fun and games, relaxing pamper sessions, and some very special birthday celebrations. 🎉

We were also delighted to welcome the wonderful New Parks School, who came in to share poetry, sing for us, and tell stories about the war. Thank you so much for spending the afternoon with us ,everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we hope you enjoyed your donut treats!❤️

Wow, what a fantastic week our residents have had! 🍸🎉

From fun filled cocktail making sessions, to some very competitive table hockey games, and even the perfect chance for residents to get their revenge on staff by throwing balls at us , I think family that joined in loved it just as much 😂

We then rounded off the week with a lovely afternoon down the pub celebrating a resident’s birthday treat 🍻🎂
