🌼 Fundraising Afternoon – Wednesday 5th August, 1–3pm 🌼

We’d love to invite all parents to join us for a fundraising afternoon on Wednesday 5th August from 1–3pm.

There will be a raffle, tea, coffee and cakes, and a lovely chance to spend time together while supporting our setting.

You’ll also have the opportunity to see our developing sensory space in the garden — a project we’re really excited to share with you as it continues to grow.

The weather really hasn’t been on our side the last few weeks… we are going to be holding our fundraising afternoon on Wednesday 5th August

🌈 Kaleidoscope Open Afternoon – Wednesday 5th August 🌈

We’d love to invite all friends and families of Kaleidoscope to our Open Afternoon on Wednesday 5th August 1:30–3:30pm.

We’ll be hosting a fantastic raffle with some brilliant prizes, including:

• Jenno’s Coffee House voucher
• Wistow Café Bistro voucher
• Leicester Racecourse voucher
• Charnwood Forest Alpacas experience
…and many more vouchers and goodies still being added!

A 15‑hour Support Worker position is now available, covering Monday and Wednesday.

👏🏽🌈5km x 5 Days x One Team — Challenge Complete!

What a week it has been! The rain has definitely not been on our side, and at times it made this challenge feel almost impossible… but we didn’t let that stop us. Together — the people we support and our amazing staff team — we powered through every single day and completed our 5km x 5 day x one team challenge 💪🌧️✨

Our original target was 25km… but this team doesn’t do things by halves.
We absolutely smashed it and finished on an incredible 59km across the week! 🎉

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our staff and the ongoing support from everyone cheering us on. To everyone who has donated so far — thank you. Your kindness helps us continue providing meaningful, enriching activities for the people we support at Kaleidoscope 💛

🎉 Kaleidoscope Turns 5!
To continue celebrating our 5th birthday, we’ll be hosting a fundraising afternoon on Wednesday 24th June — complete with a raffle, tea, coffee and cakes. All funds raised will go directly towards activities and opportunities for the people we support.

👟 And we’re not stopping there…
Our staff team are taking on their own July challenge:
Five 5km walks at five different locations.

🌟 DAY 5 — 5km x 5 Days x One Team Challenge! 🌟

We wrapped up our final 5km close to home today — the rain really hasn’t been on our side, but the team stayed determined and finished strong 🌧️💪✨

🌟 DAY 4 — 5km x 5 Days x One Team Challenge! 🌟

Today we mixed things up with two separate walks to keep our kilometres climbing!
One group headed out to the local park, enjoying some fresh air and green space, while another made their way to the lovely Ekojoe Community Café for a well‑earned stop ☕🌿

A huge thank you for all the amazing support throughout this challenge — every bit of encouragement has kept the team motivated and moving forward.

We’re aiming to complete our final day next week, all being well that the sun decides to be on our side ☀️🤞
