☕️ A Lovely Afternoon at Barlestone Community Coffee Café ☕️

On Friday, we had a lovely afternoon at our Home Instead West Leicestershire & Market Bosworth Community Coffee Café in Barlestone. 💙

We were delighted to welcome Annika Bradford, Lead Advisor for the Mobile Advice Centre, who joined us to share some really useful advice and information. Annika spoke to us about Carbon Monoxide safety, tips for saving money on household bills, and lots more. 🏠💷

It was a very informative afternoon, and everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and pick up some helpful advice and tips. A huge thank you to Annika for taking the time to come along and support our community café. ❤️

Our Community Café is a great place to meet new people, make friends, enjoy a cuppa and have a chat, while also learning about useful services and information available in our local community. ☕️😊

Returning to work after time away is something many people feel quietly nervous about.

Whether you stepped back to care for someone, to raise a family, or because life simply went in a different direction, it can feel like the working world has moved on without you.

What we would say is this: the things that make someone good at this work have nothing to do with how recently they were employed.

Reliability, warmth, common sense, the ability to make someone feel comfortable in their own home. These do not go stale.

Home Instead West Leicestershire & Market Bosworth Community Café 💛☕

We’d love to invite everyone along to our friendly Community Café on Friday 28th August, at Barlestone Baptist Church, from 2.00pm–3.30pm.

Come along, make new friends, enjoy a lovely cuppa and have a chat in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We’ll also have some fun activities and a quiz, so there’ll be plenty of opportunities to get involved, have a laugh and enjoy some company! 🌟

Why are community cafés so important?
Community cafés provide a lovely opportunity to get out, meet people and feel part of your local community. They can help reduce loneliness and isolation, encourage friendships and social connections, and give everyone a chance to share conversations, experiences and a few laughs together.
