Last week, we were delighted to welcome members of the DFN Project SEARCH team to Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital for an introductory session ahead of an exciting new placement opportunity.

DFN Project SEARCH is a supported internship programme that helps young adults with learning disabilities and autism develop workplace skills and gain valuable experience to support their journey into paid employment.

From September, we are proud to be supporting one of their students as they begin a placement with us, providing opportunities to learn, grow and build confidence within a healthcare environment.

We look forward to working together and are excited to welcome the student to our team in the coming weeks.

With temperatures reaching 30+ degrees today, one of our lovely patients made sure our staff were kept cool by surprising them with ice creams! 🍦💚

It was such a thoughtful gesture and definitely brought some smiles to the team on a very warm day.

What a perfect way to end the week! 🥰 Thank you for thinking of our staff, it was very much appreciated.
