๐ค A Wonderful Day on the Water! ๐๐
Today our lovely residents enjoyed a fantastic day out aboard Sunbeam, a beautiful narrow boat operated by Mosaic 1898, cruising peacefully along the canal from Wanlip to Sileby.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter and wonderful memories made as everyone relaxed and took in the beautiful countryside, watched the wildlife and experienced the fascinating canal locks in action.
A very special moment was seeing Dorothy enjoying the trip. We were determined to make sure she could join us, and it was so worthwhile seeing her smiling and making the most of such a lovely day. We hope her family will enjoy seeing these special photographs. โค๏ธ
It was also particularly meaningful for Ken, who once lived on a narrow boat before moving to Orchard Manor View. Watching him confidently helping to secure the boat brought back many happy memories and made the day even more special.
A huge thank you goes to the wonderful volunteers from Mosaic 1898. Your kindness, patience and care made such a difference, ensuring every one of our residents felt included, safe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We are so grateful for the warm welcome and outstanding support you gave throughout the day.
Finally, a big thank you to Gemma, Lisa and Tia for organising and helping with another memorable outing. Days like these create precious memories that our residents and their families will treasure for years to come. ๐
