Summer Party Announcement! ☀️

Please see below for more information about our upcoming summer party for family and friends. It will be a fun-filled day featuring a live singer, a delicious BBQ, a bouncy castle, games, and a cake sale!

We are also running a Tombola with some truly great prizes. We would like to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful local businesses for their generous donations of tombola vouchers: The Swan, Dodie's Cafe, and Kibworth Books at The Barn.

A week full of smiles! ❤️

We have had a lovely busy time full of smiles and sunshine!

🎂 Happy Birthday! A huge happy birthday to two of our wonderful ladies, Gillian and Jean! We loved celebrating your special days with you.

🏡 The beautiful weather kept us very active. We enjoyed lovely trips to our local park, taking in the fresh air and stretching our legs.

🪴 Our residents have been working hard out in the garden! From planting and weeding to keeping everything looking beautiful.

🐟 We also took some quiet time to relax by the water pond and feed our beautiful koi fish, which is always a favourite peaceful pastime.

Today, we say goodbye to the one and only Mick!

For many years, Mick has been the man who could fix just about anything at Kibworth Court. If it was broken, squeaking, leaking, or simply refusing to work, Mick was the one to sort it (usually with a smile and a few choice words!).

Now it’s time for a new adventure.

Thank you, Mick, for all your hard work, dedication, and the laughs you’ve shared with us over the years. Wishing you lots of happiness, good health, and every success in this exciting new chapter.

Good luck, Mick—you’ll be greatly missed!

Dear Friends and Families,

We are absolutely delighted to invite you all to our annual Summer Party!

When: Saturday, 15th August 2026
3pm to 5pm

Where: In the care home and care home gardens.

It’s going to be a fantastic afternoon of fun, food, and catching up. We are even going to have a bouncy castle for the kids (and the young at heart)!

Children: £1 (Please note: Entry fees are payable on the day).

Where does the money go? > Every single penny raised from the entry tickets, tombola, and cake sale goes directly into our Residents’ Fund, which helps us organise special activities, trips, and entertainment for your loved ones throughout the year.

We can't wait to see you all there and celebrate summer together!
