Our residents had a wonderful time taking part in a ball game, keeping active while enjoying plenty of smiles and teamwork along the way.
Activities like these are a great way to promote physical wellbeing, social interaction, and most importantly, have fun together. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved and cheering each other on!

A much-loved tradition that brings residents together for great conversation, laughter, and plenty of smiles. The evening was filled with joy as everyone relaxed, socialised, and enjoyed each other's company in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Care Home Open Week at Cherry Tree Care Home was full of energy, laughter, and wonderful shared moments! ⚽💙

Residents enjoyed some friendly football target practice, bringing out a little healthy competition and plenty of smiles all around. We also took part in a lively World Cup quiz, sparking fantastic conversations and memories of iconic moments—especially when England lifted the trophy in 1966.

The excitement continues as residents share their predictions for tonight’s England match, which they will all be watching together later this evening.

On Monday at Cherry Tree Care Home, we embraced the World Cup spirit with a wonderfully creative and engaging activity. ⚽💚

Our residents designed and made their very own football tops, carefully choosing colours, numbers, and designs that reflected their personalities, favourite teams, and meaningful memories. Each shirt told its own story, from lucky numbers to numbers linked with special moments in their lives.

The session sparked brilliant conversations about football through the years, favourite matches, and friendly predictions about who might take the trophy home. There was plenty of laughter too as we added a light-hearted World Cup sweepstake into the mix!
