One of the farms we love to go to is . I really wanted to get some photos of the new inclusive playground. However, it was bustling and I didn’t want to get other people in the photos. I loved how ALL children were playing there together. Very inclusive. Of course there is still indoor soft play, animals to feed and a dinosaur trail which Leo always loves. Definitely one we recommend.

This week we went to and as always I’m going to give my review. The train track with model village is open on Wednesday and Friday. They have little quizzes and is free of charge (donations welcome). There is a small charity shop on site (those that know me know I love a charity shop) but it was small and didn’t buy anything. They offer buggy rides to deer farm but we didn’t do this. It was wheelchair accessible to the cafe but not the train viewing area. Now to the not so good bits…
We went with my grandma, mum both boys and myself. We hadn’t booked a table and was told it was extremely busy and you are supposed to book. They said we could sit outside. When we went to the table it was in the sun and whilst there was a parasol it offered no shade. Leo really struggles with regulating his temperature and struggles with the heat. As does my fair skin mum and grandma. There were tables under a canopy not in use so I asked if we could move. The first staff member was very abrupt and said you have to talk to reception. So, I went to reception. Lady there said no it’s reserved. I asked from what time and she said 1:45. It was 12pm. I assured her we could be out by 1.30 as we were only having light lunches and she agreed to move us (reluctantly). The food is nice, but overpriced. They then brought the boys and mine out but mums and grandmas didn’t come. We left it a while but as we were literally nearly done eating I went and asked. The lady I asked said “well that’s unusual are you sure you ordered?” 😖. The lady we order with came over and did apologise and said she would get it out to us as soon as possible. We were in fact finished by the time it came out. Now I appreciate there were busy, we hadn’t booked (didn’t know) but I just felt the customer service wasn’t good. We won’t be returning.

This is just my opinions and experience, but I like to keep my page honest and share the good, the bad and in betweens.
