This week is World Breastfeeding Awareness Week.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of breastfeeding and the support available to parents as they make feeding choices for their baby. Breastfeeding can provide important nutrients and health benefits, but every family's circumstances are different. This year’s theme is “Breastfeeding for a sustainable start in life: strengthen what works.”

At Leicester Fertility Centre, we're proud to support patients beyond their fertility journey and recognise that informed, supported choices are important for both parents and babies.

'Considering my medical history and age, would you be able to treat me?'

This is a query we hear regularly, particularly during initial consultations.

The reality is that there is no one-size-fits-all answer. Fertility treatment recommendations are based on a range of factors, including your age, medical history and individual circumstances.

That's why it's important not to rule yourself out before seeking advice. What may not be suitable for one person could be an appropriate option for someone else.
