I feel extremely proud to be working together with Sunrise Wellbeing as Therapeutic Partner of the Shine Project in partnership with . It was great to be invited along to The Childrens Commissioners event today where Sunrise Founder & Psychotherapist was honoured to be asked to join the Shine Panel, showcasing our wonderful work with young people and schools so far.

The theatre audience included great professionals, trustees and colleagues, including MP’s, the Lord Mayor, and Dr Rachel De Souza’s Team.

Look out on later to see our amazing Shine students in action and on tomorrow morning to hear Shelley chatting with Kevin Ncube 🌟

Late post! But I didn’t want to forget to add a little CPD I attended last Friday with the amazing Anita Smith, children’s psychotherapeutic counsellor 🦋 at 🌈
This gentle & calming technique combines soothing bilateral stimulation with mindful tapping to help your nervous system to feel safer and more regulated.
I will be introducing this to my 1-1 clients (& parents!) this week, as well as in my group Shine sessions 🌟
Not only have I learned a new technique to support others, I’ve found this a really useful tool for myself 💞

As part of our weekly grant showcase programme the Randal Foundation would like to shine a spotlight on the fantastic work made possible by CURVE theatre, Leicester

CURVE theatre, Leicester is an arts theatre based in Leicester that hosts a diverse programme of award-winning shows.

They deliver community and education programmes to support people in hardship by providing access to creative opportunities.

The Randal Foundation are proud to support Curve Theatre, Leicester's shine project which tackles the mental health crisis amongst young people in some of Leicester’s most disadvantaged communities.

The project delivers a series of drama workshops and theatre engagement opportunities designed to help support the emotional wellbeing of young people.

I’ve been ‘Out of office’ this week for a very special reason! 💙
On Monday we welcomed a beautiful new baby grandson into the world and my heart is completely full. 🥰
I’ve also been incredibly fortunate to spend some precious one-to-one time with my eldest grandson while his Mummy, Daddy, & new baby brother were in hospital 🩵🩵
Feeling very grateful for these special family days 🥰🥰🥰
