Today feels like a beautiful opportunity to pause. To look back at how far I’ve come, acknowledge the woman I am today, and make space for the woman I’m still becoming. 🌿

The Lion’s Gate Portal is associated in modern spirituality with reflection, release, intention and new beginnings — and whether you believe in the energy of 8/8 or simply use today as a reminder to stop and check in with yourself, I think there’s something lovely about that. ✨

So today, I’m choosing…

🌿 Gratitude for everything I already have and everything I’ve overcome.
🍃 Release of the things I no longer need to carry.
✨ Trust in the journey, even when I can't see exactly where it's taking me.
🤍 Space for more peace, love, abundance, opportunities and beautiful moments.

One thing I’m learning is that I don't constantly need to be chasing the next version of myself.

I don’t need to chase the woman I’m becoming.
I’m already becoming her.

Today I am grateful for how far I’ve come.
I release what I’m no longer meant to carry.
And I make space for everything that is meant for me. 🌿✨

When I created Relax & Reset, my dream wasn't just to offer treatments. It was to create a calm, cosy space where people could switch off from the outside world, feel safe, cared for and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.

Reading Nicola's beautiful words reminded me exactly why I started this journey.

This morning started with a little bit of self-care.

A trip to the hairdressers, a lovely catch-up with the beautiful Gemma, and I'm feeling all shiny and new. At the grand young age of 42, I still haven't found a grey hair... long may that continue! 😄

Then I enjoyed a slow, quiet hour before opening the doors to my little sanctuary and welcoming today's lovely ladies.

And to end the day? I'll was on the massage bed myself, enjoying a relaxing treatment with my beautiful friend, Karen Revive Your Glow’s Little Retreat 💆🏼‍♀️✨

Today has been a reminder that you can't pour from an empty cup. Sometimes, taking a little time for yourself is exactly what you need.

I know it's only the beginning of August, but I've decided to open my September diary early.

As many of you know, alongside Relax & Reset I also work full-time as a nurse, which means I have limited treatment days each month. I never want anyone to miss out or be disappointed if the appointments they wanted have already gone.

If you've been thinking about booking some time for yourself, whether it's a massage, Japanese Head Spa, holistic facial, lymphatic drainage massage or another of my treatments, now is the perfect time to reserve your appointment.

Today my massage bed had a little upgrade. New blankets, fresh sheets, soft pillows and a luxurious mattress topper to make every treatment feel like you're sinking into a cloud 🤍

I want every person who walks into Relax & Reset to feel safe, comfortable and completely cared for from the moment they arrive ☁️
