We have just been notified by the waterboard that there is a burst water pipe, the road between Harrison Drive and Lakelands is going to be closed. This will directly impact access to The Glebe surgery and redirections are going to be put in place - please allow extra time if you have an appointment at The Glebe surgery today.

The reception team have are experiencing an increase in abusive behaviour from patients, which will not be tolerated. We operate a zero‑tolerance policy towards any form of aggression, intimidation, or disrespect towards our staff. Our team are here to help, and they have the right to work in a safe and respectful environment at all times. Any abusive behaviour may result in appropriate action being taken, including refusal of service where necessary.

We continue to see an increasing number of patients arriving at Lenham for appointments that are booked at Harrietsham. Your text reminder always includes both the time and the location of your appointment, so please check this carefully before you travel.
Unfortunately, if you arrive at the wrong site and this makes you more than 8 minutes late, the GP will usually not be able to see you and you will have to rebook your appointment. This is because late arrivals cause the clinic to run behind schedule and impact other patients.

Important Notice – IT Upgrade Today

Today between 12:30pm and 2:30pm, we’ll be having some essential network upgrade work carried out at Len Valley Practice as part of a Kent & Medway IT improvement programme.

During this time, our computers, phone lines and systems will be temporarily offline. This may cause some short delays to our services while the work is completed.

This upgrade is important to improve our IT infrastructure and future capacity. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

IT system issues

We are experiencing IT system issues. This means we have limited access to patient records and clinics while IT are working to fix this.

If you have an appointment today, please still attend, but bear in mind we have limited access to your notes. If you have a telephone appointment today, this will still take place but may be a little delayed. There may also be a longer call queue than normal.

Online consultations can be switched off during this outage.

Dear Patients, we are aware of an increased number of patients not arriving at the correct practice for their appointment. Your reminder text will say either Lenham or Harrietsham. Please check your text. It will be at the GP or nurses discretion to still see you if you are late for your appointment because you arrived at the wrong practice.
