Parking & traffic disruption at Lenham surgery

Please be aware that a water station is currently operating in the community car park, which means parking spaces will be limited and there may be increased traffic coming into and around the surgery.

If you have an appointment with us, please allow a little extra time for your journey and parking. We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

If possible, please consider allowing extra time to park nearby and walk to the surgery.

Our team are working extremely hard to catch up and get everything back on track as quickly as possible. We really appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Please wait until you receive your collection text message before coming to collect your medication, as this confirms that it is ready for you.

We would also kindly ask that you check your contact details are up to date with us, particularly your mobile number, so we can make sure you receive important collection updates.

Thank you for bearing with us, we know how important it is to receive your medication on time, and we appreciate your support while our team works through the backlog.

This issue is now resolved and service has now been restored. There will be a full investigation into the cause of the incident we have been told. It has been a very difficult day for staff and patients alike, we apologise for the prolonged disruption that was caused as a result. Staff did the best they could under difficult and very hot circumstances. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding.
It will undoubtedly cause a backlog of work to process, rebooking appointments, repeat prescription requests and documents to file, so please continue to be patient with staff.

We are experiencing a network disruption that is impacting Kent and Medway practices. This means we are unable to access our clinical/IT systems, we apologise for any inconvenience this is causing our patients, particularly those trying to submit or who have submitted a triage form as we cannot access the system.
We have been assured this issue has been escalated by the technical operations team for further investigation and we will update you when we receive further information.

Important Patient Notice: Essential Building Works at The Glebe Medical Centre, Harrietsham

We would like to make patients aware that essential building works will be taking place at our Harrietsham site from Monday 20th July for approximately two weeks.

During this time, there will be some disruption while these important improvements are carried out. The practice will remain open, and appointments, clinics and prescription collections will continue as normal.

We will do everything we can to minimise disruption, but we kindly ask patients to allow extra time when attending the surgery and to follow any temporary access arrangements in place.

For full information about the works, including changes to access and what to expect when visiting the practice, please visit our website:

We continue to see an increasing number of patients arriving at Lenham for appointments that are booked at Harrietsham. Your text reminder always includes both the time and the location of your appointment, so please check this carefully before you travel.
Unfortunately, if you arrive at the wrong site and this makes you more than 8 minutes late, the GP will usually not be able to see you and you will have to rebook your appointment. This is because late arrivals cause the clinic to run behind schedule and impact other patients.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep clinics running smoothly.

Call now to connect with business.
