We have an incredibly special employee of the month for August.

Anne Marie is celebrating 10 years at Springvale. She has worked a variety of roles during her time in the home however over recent years has been a vital part of our housekeeping and laundry team; and I cannot thank her enough for her dedication to our home.

The men at this weeks Gents Club were put to work……. After all the work over the past couple of weeks decorating our corridor toilets we had some flat pack furniture needing built to put in them. I’m sure you will agree we had some very handy helpers.

We have been incredibly busy over recent weeks and our Facebook posts have been slower than normal. We have continued to keep active with our daily walking club; we have noticed a marked improvement in physical activity and mood in those who choose to participate in the group.

We are always excited for new members and if it’s something your loved one would enjoy be sure to speak to Stephanie or the activity staff on your next visit to the home.

A huge congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Gillian!

Gillian is the Unit Manager in our Primrose Unit, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.

She was nominated for consistently demonstrating respect in everything she does. Gillian treats our residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues with kindness and respect at all times. She is an excellent role model for our junior team members and consistently puts our company values at the heart of her work.
