Here's the Radio ECHO team hard at work last week, with their usual blend of music, features and sheer lunacy.

However, they won't be repeating the experience this week as Radio ECHO: Live! is on a training and planning day and so won't be broadcasting. However, they will be back the following week, Tuesday 23rd June, refreshed and with more ideas about how to keep you entertained every Tuesday!

Sister programme Thank Friday It's Radio ECHO, however, will be on the air as usual this week, Friday 26th but repeating their 11am broadcast experiment.

If you'd like to find out how to become part of the presenting team, please contact ECHO on 01568 620307 and we'll set you up with a taster experience!

What a day we had last Saturday at ColourFoamFest! 🌈 As promised, here are some more photos from the day, with all the colour, foam, fun and laughter!

Again, a huge thank you to all our amazing sponsors — Brightwells, Central Roofing, Leominster Festival, Setfords Solicitors, Specsavers Leominster, the Cadbury–Mondelez workers, Leominster Rotary, and all our fantastic ECHO volunteers — for helping make the event happen. We really couldn’t have done it without you! 💙

And of course, thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered, sponsored the event, or came along to support it. You helped make the day so special and such a brilliant community event.

We hope we will have raised lots of funds to help ECHO continue its invaluable work with disabled people across the county. If you would like to contribute to that work, go to https://donate.justgiving.com/charity/echoherefordshire/donation-amount

but in the meantime, enjoy the highlights! ✨

What a week for Thank Friday It's Radio ECHO! Last Friday it was Presenter Aaron's birthday and he shared a very tiny cake, as you can see!

Next day was Colour Foam Fest in which Presenters Nick and Aaron and volunteer Louis took on the paint and foam challenge. Nick is still drying out...

Also spotted were volunteers Eliot and Lisa, later seen throwing paint at Aaron.

Now back to this week and it's all change at TFIRE. No, we're not joking, Aaron. For the first time, the show goes live in the morning - so tune in at 11.00am - 1.00pm.

Not only that, there are two ways to listen!!! Use the Zoom link below as normal to hear and see the broadcast through the we**am. Or - listen live through ECHO's new web radio on their website: www.echoherefordshire.org.uk At the top of the home page you will see a radio button, playing a selection of tracks. At 11am it will go live and you can listen to the show!

Were you there on Saturday for ColourFoamFest 2026? If not, you missed a brilliant day filled with colour, foam, and plenty of smiles. A little rain tried to join the fun, but it didn’t dampen the atmosphere or the enthusiasm of everyone taking part.

Early estimates show that around 200 runners and walkers completed the course in support of ECHO, helping raise important funds for the charity’s work with people with learning disabilities across the community.

ECHO would like to thank this year’s fantastic sponsors — Brightwells, Central Roofing, Leominster Festival, Setfords solicitors and Specsavers Leominster, along with the Cadburys - Mondelez workers from the Cadbury factory plus Leominster Rotary and all the ECHO volunteers — whose support helped make the event possible.

More photos will be shared soon, but here are some early highlights of colour bombs and foaming frolics, with ECHO participants Tracy leading the warm‑up and Peter and Dan from Radio ECHO keeping the crowd entertained throughout the day.

A huge thank‑you goes out to everyone who took part, volunteered, sponsored, or came along to enjoy the day. Your support made ColourFoamFest 2026 a fun and memorable community event. We will update you with amounts raised when we have the figures but meanwhile, enjoy these highlights...

Meanwhile, the International Court Of Music Credibility and Coolness, investigating crimes against lyrical correctness into successful songs, met in a Special Public Hearing to examine Producer Nick's workings.

All checked out ok and there was a huge response to the ballot deciding which musical detainee will be released tomorrow. Will it be AC/DC, Phil Collins, Culture Club, Boyzone, The Cast of the film Grease, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Bryan Adams, Spice Girls, or Public Music Enemy No.1 Sir Cliff (not likely)? Find out tomorrow live on the show along with a double, yes double arrest and internment

For all this, music, news and features, along with an exciting update about this week's TFI Radio ECHO, join the team at 1.30...
