i am just starting out making handmade goats milk soap, firstly i have to let you all know about the benefits of using goats milk on the skin, we have long heard about how good goats milk is for us if we drink it, but it is just as beneficial to us if we use it in soap or creams! goats milk is rich in essential fatty acids and triglycerides, the essential fatty acids have a unique PH similar to humans, so it is less irritating and more easily absorbed by our skin, these fatty acids and triglycerides are super moisturising and more.... goats milk contains loads of precious minerals and vitamins, particularly vitamin a the most important for our skin, it goats milk has a high AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) such as lactic acid which is said to delay signs of skin aging, lots of water based soaps use harsh chemicals to break down dead skin cells, goats milk however works with the skin instead of breaking it down and aging it further. goats milk also reduces skin inflammation due to its high fat molecule content, the cream present in goats milk is a moisturizer, soothing dry and damaged skin it helps to hydrate and brighten the skin, the more you use it you will notice the need for less moisturizer. i also do not use Palm Oil in any of my soaps.the demand for palm oil has reached such a high that orangutans could become extinct within our lifetime, as more of their homes and their natural habitats are destroyed to make way for palm oil plantations,of course orangutans are not the only animals that are at risk there are many more. among the millions of people that work in the palm oil industry thousands are child labourers forced to work in the palm oil industry a lot of these children are taken by force from their homes by traffickers. in my soaps i use coconut oil this is full of anti oxidant vitamin E , good for anti ageing, skin healing, it also comprises of Triglyceride lauric acid and is thought to be one of the healthiest oils for your skin and body, and the list goes on,
we are also now making bath bombs, bath truffles and bath milks all of course containing goats milk, we also make lovely goats milk and salt bars these bars contain pink Himalayan salt are are totally amazing on your skin

Well thought i would update this page now as things have fairly moved on since i started up, we now have our first shop in Lerwick, where i can also make all the soaps at as well , so finally getting our house back x we know have lots and lots of lovely soaps still all made using our own goats milk and still we do not use any palm oil in any of our products x
