One of our favourite verses from the Hanuman Chalisa is:

जो यह पढ़े हनुमान चालीसा ।
होय सिद्धि साखी गौरीसा ॥

Jo yah paṛhe Hanumān Chālīsā,
Hoye siddhi sākhī Gaurīsā.

“Whoever recites this Hanuman Chalisa will attain fulfilment — Lord Shiva is witness to this.”

Keyword? -Whoever.

We love this verse because it reminds us that devotion is open to everyone.

Not only the advanced.
Not only the confident.
Not only those who feel they fully belong.

But whoever comes with sincerity. 😌

To us, this is also the art of of Yoga:
availability to all.

Jai Hanuman ❤️
Anjani Devi & Gabriel 🙏🏽

😬😭 Personal share: ⬇️⬇️

For 15+ years, I’ve been living with endometriosis - a progressive (and aggressive!) chronic illness that lives in the shadows, but shapes so much of your life.

I’ve just had my first (and it won’t be my last 🙄) excision surgery 😬
Quite timely really, as this month is Endometriosis Awareness Month. 💛💛
What that actually looked like wasn’t soft lighting and deep breaths… that’s for sure.

It was pain, vulnerability, catheterisation, infection, my body not responding, vomiting (with four fresh abdominal wounds 😣), countless bags of IV fluids, passing out,
“lazy bowels,” emergency room, hospital re-admission,
and moments where I felt completely disconnected from myself.

With only one o***y left, which was stuck to my womb and bowel, I risked surgical menopause with this surgery.
Endometrial lesions were found in places I’ve felt for years but was never seen - EVEN on my diaphragm!🎤👀
(I KNEW it! I just KNEW it!)

My body had been holding more than I could ever see.

🧘🏽‍♀️🧠 As someone who deeply believes in body–mind connection, this experience humbled me…
because sometimes that connection doesn’t flow.

My body resisted. It shut down.
It asked my mind to surrender in ways I never expected.

And that’s still yoga 😬🙏🏽

Yoga isn’t just strength and balance.
It’s being present in the mess.
It’s breathing through fear when there’s no relief in sight.
It’s trusting your body even when it feels like it’s “asleep” or working against you.

Right now, I’m in recovery.
Slow. Tender. Real.

But for the first time in a long time, I feel something new underneath it all
- the beginning of light emerging once more.

❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 To anyone living with endometriosis or chronic illness - I see you, and you have my deepest compassion.
Your experience is real, even when it’s invisible.
🤝To anyone SUPPORTING someone with this condition - you’re seen too - and your care and understanding is going probably a lot further than you know. 🥹

And to my body…
one breath at a time.

Healing isn’t linear. But it is happening.

Anjani Devi ❤️‍🩹🙏🏽

It’s been THREE whole years since we met and we’re celebrating in Morocco! 🇲🇦

Three years ago, I (Anjani Devi) was SO ready to be living alone for the rest of forever … and so was Gabriel! 😅

As time has gone by, we’ve slowly taught each other the truth and safety of love-and how it heals the heart. 💖

It didn’t mean that every day is filled with sunshine and smiles, but we commit to holding space for each other - even on the darkest of days.
finer.nygren , you teach our girls a gentle, patient and slow-paced love. 🥹

Thank you for standing with me.🙏🏽❤️

Lucia candlelight, lussekatter, and family time.
Choosing slow moments, mindful living, and shanti in the small things — under skies that danced with northern lights last night 🤍🌌

Day 16 — the final step in this cycle of awareness and intention.

As we close this year’s 16 Days of Activism, we stand with all affected by gender-based violence. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏾🧡

Gentle in compassion. Bold in commitment.

Strength isn’t always loud — sometimes it’s breathing, showing up, speaking truth, and choosing courage.

To survivors: We see you, honour your strength, and hold space for your healing.
To our community: Let this be a beginning, not an ending.

Small acts matter:
🧡 Listen
🧡 Challenge harm
🧡 Share resources
🧡 Support local orgs
🧡 Create safe spaces

Yoga teaches that connection is power — and that rising together creates change.
Gentle hearts. Bold action. 🧡✨

📸 Photo context:
This was taken two days after we met.
We were fragile, fractured, and frightened.
Through trust, compassion, growth, and a commitment to non-harm, we’ve grown into a partnership that is strong, curious, and full of love.

Thank you, , for holding space for this unfolding. 🙏🏽🧡

Hari Om. Jai Ma Durga. Jai Hanuman.
🕉️🙏🏽❤️

14/16 Today we’re talking about relationship flags—the subtle signs that reveal whether a connection is nurturing or harmful. 💚v💔

‼️This is relevant to ALL types of relationships (romantic, friendly, professional, family and beyond).

Yoga reminds us to return to awareness, breath, and truth.
When we tune inward, we learn to recognize when something doesn’t feel safe… and when something does.

✨ May we continue building relationships grounded in trust, respect, and presence.

✨ May we have the courage to leave what harms us.

✨ May we create spaces where everyone feels safe to be their full self.

🧘‍♀️💚

For survivors, reconnecting with the body can be brave, tender work.

On Day 13, may we offer simple affirmations to support embodied safety:

✨ “I am worthy of safety.”

✨ “My body belongs to me.”

✨ “I can heal.”

Hold only what feels supportive today. 🕊️

Day 12… Let kirtan carry what we can’t hold alone.
Hope becomes a movement when we lift our voices together. 💗🙌🏽

May Lord Ganesh unlock the potential within to remove your own obstacles. 🙏🏽

Thank you dear .das.108 and for this oh so sweet melody a couple of years back. 🙏🏽🥹

Day 11… Our relationship is our yoga —
a living practice of softening, listening, and beginning again.

We stretch into the places that feel tight,
breathe into the moments that test our patience,
and stay present when the ego wants to rise and defend.

We lean into the discomfort
because it’s where truth reveals itself,
where healing becomes possible,
where love learns its deepest form.

This is our practice.
This is our activism.
This is how we grow — slowly, bravely, and side by side.
