Theravāda Saṅgha Sāmīcikamma Ceremony – United Kingdom 🙏
ථෙරවාද සංඝ සාමීචිකම්ම උත්සවය - එක්සත් රාජධානිය 🙏
Most of the Theravāda Buddhist monks living in the United Kingdom assembled on Thursday 20th August 2026 at Amaravati Buddhist Monastery, Hemel Hempstead to attend a Special Meeting of TBSUK and a Sāmīcikamma Ceremony. The Sāmīcikamma Ceremony was held with the participation of Most senior monk in the UK, Luang Por Sumedho (60 Rains (Vassa) in 2026).
එක්සත් රාජධානියේ වැඩසිටින බොහෝ ථෙරවාදී බෞද්ධ භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා, TBSUK හි විශේෂ රැස්වීමකට සහ සාමීචිකම්ම (වැඩිහිටි ගෞරව දැක්වීමේ) උත්සවයකට සහභාගී වීම සඳහා 2026 අගෝස්තු 20 වන බ්රහස්පතින්දා හෙමෙල් හෙම්ප්ස්ටඩ් (Hemel Hempstead) හි පිහිටි අමරාවතී බෞද්ධ විහාරස්ථානයේදී (Amaravati Buddhist Monastery) එක්රැස් වූහ. මෙම සාමීචිකම්ම උත්සවය, එක්සත් රාජධානියේ වැඩසිටින ජ්යෙෂ්ඨතම භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේ වන ලොන් පෝ සුමේධෝ (Luang Por Sumedho) හිමියන්ගේ (2026 වන විට වස් කාලයන් 60ක් සම්පූර්ණ කර ඇති) සහභාගීත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විණි.
The Sāmīcikamma Ceremony is a traditional observance in which monks express respect and proper conduct toward senior teachers and elders. Beyond a formal rite, it embodies humility, gratitude, harmony, and mutual respect, sustaining the Saṅgha for over 2,600 years.
සාමීචිකම්ම උත්සවය භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා ජ්යෙෂ්ඨ ගුරුවරුන්ට සහ වැඩිහිටියන්ට ස්වාමින් වහන්සේලාට ගෞරවය, පූජාවන් සහ විශේෂ වන්දනාවක් සිදු කරණ සාම්ප්රධායික ආරාමික චාරිත්රයකි. එමෙන්ම එය විධිමත් චාරිත්රයකට වඩා ඔබ්බට ගිය නිහතමානීකම, කෘතඥතාව, සමගිය සහ අන්යෝන්ය ගෞරවය මූර්තිමත් කරණ වසර 2600 කට අධික කාලයක් භික්ෂූන් අතර පවත්වාගෙන උතුම් කටයුත්තකි.

ලොන් පෝ කෙමධම්මෝ (Luang Por Khemadhammo) ස්වාමින් වහන්සේගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන්, එක්සත් රාජධානියේ ථෙරවාදී භික්ෂු සංඝයාගේ (TBSUK) විශේෂ රැස්වීමද පැවැත්විණි.
