💉 Flu & COVID-19 Vaccinations 2026/27
Protect yourself and those around you this winter
Langton Grange Medical Centre will be offering flu and COVID-19 vaccinations again this autumn and winter to patients who are eligible.

🗓️ When will vaccinations start?
From September 2026
• 👶 Children eligible for the nasal flu vaccine
• 🤰 Pregnant women – flu vaccination
From October 2026
• 💉 Flu vaccinations for all other eligible groups
• 💉 COVID-19 vaccinations for eligible patients
Who is eligible?
Flu vaccination is offered to eligible patients, including:
• Children who meet the criteria for the nasal flu vaccine
• Pregnant women
• Adults aged 65 and over
• People in clinical risk groups, such as certain long-term health conditions
• Those living in care homes
• Carers and other groups who meet the national eligibility criteria
COVID-19 vaccination is offered to eligible groups:
• Adults aged 75 years and over
• Residents in a care home for older adults
• Individuals who are immunosuppressed

📩 You will be invited

If you are eligible, you do not need to contact the surgery to book your vaccination.
We will invite you when your vaccination is due and will provide information on how to book your appointment.
Please wait for your invitation rather than contacting the surgery to ask when clinics will be available.

Vaccination is one of the best ways to help protect yourself against serious illness from flu and COVID-19 and can also help protect those around you.

Car Park Update:

To help ensure parking spaces remain available for patients and visitors attending the practice (and Boots Pharmacy), a new parking management system will be in operation in our Lichfield car park.

If you park in the car park, you must enter your vehicle registration number at the kiosks located in reception when you arrive. This will register your vehicle for up to 2 hours and prevent a parking charge from being issued. Further details are available on our website.

Unfortunately, the car park has increasingly been used by non-patients, making it more difficult for patients and visitors to find a parking space.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we introduce this system to improve parking availability for our patients and visitors.
