In these fun, interactive weekly play sessions, we will:

🧠 Introduce you to a whole range of activities and techniques to help you and your baby get more out of your play times in ways that are not only beneficial for baby’s development, but also lots of fun

🥰 Support your child to feel secure, give them the confidence to explore, learn and grow

🌈 Discover lots of different experiences to stimulate, delight and encourage development in a relaxed, loving and fun environment

👋🏻 Provide a great place to start building social skills, first by watching and later through interaction with the other babies

One of the benefits that I absolutely love about baby massage is that it is a great way to release Oxytocin 🥹🤍

Oxytocin is the hormone released in our brains when we experience positive interactions with each other, the more physically close we get to another person the more is released. This social chemical has great benefits for physical and mental health regardless of your age or life stage. These include lowering heart rate, lowering blood pressure and artery repair!

The mother and baby relationship is fueled by oxytocin. The receptors in a pregnant woman’s brain increase, and it’s the hormone that actually starts the labour process. After birth oxytocin surges allowing mum and baby to create their special bond 🤱🏽✨

Massage is a great way to encourage bonding with other family members too, which is why on our Baby Development Course, we include a full course workbook with all the massage strokes detailed, allowing other parents or grandparents to have a go at home! 🤲🏼✨

Would you like to join one of our next Baby Development courses? These start in September and will run on Monday and Thursdays at our Rugeley and Lichfield Venues ⭐️👏✨🩵

Our Baby Development Course is suitable from birth to 6 months, and is the perfect way to introduce your baby to the world of baby classes in a calm, slow-paced and gentle way 🤍✨☁️

Our unique Baby Development Class really does have it all! During our course we will help you to learn about (and introduce your little one to):

👐🏾 Baby massage
🧘🏼‍♀️ Baby yoga
👶🏼 Colic relief
🫶🏻 Sign language
🌈 Early development of baby’s senses and how to support this development
🥰 Tummy time activities
🪅 Sensory play
😴 Calming holds & activities
🫧 Bubbles
👩🏼‍🎓 & your baby will have a gorgeous little graduation too!

Not only this, you will receive a course workbook full of all of the things we cover in class, so if your little one does decide to sleep or feed through a class you’ll have all of the information you need to try the activities at home at a time that suits you 🥰

Becoming a parent changes everything, and at Tots Play, we really understand that. It’s why we created the Baby Development Course, especially for you and your new baby. 🤍

It’s not just about learning baby massage, yoga, signing, and sensory play (though we do all that too!). It’s about finding a space where you feel seen, supported, and not alone in this brand new chapter. With dedicated calm moments and a focus on parent wellbeing, giving you time to pause, breathe, and recharge while you nurture your little one.

Hi everyone! ☀️ Hope you’re all okay!

I’m currently enjoying some time away in Turkey 🇹🇷 It’s certainly a little hot here, with temperatures reaching 40°C! 🥵☀️

I hope you’re all enjoying the 6 weeks too! I’m taking a little break and enjoying some precious time with my little family before we’re back to Tots Play and ready for the September term. 💕🐒

I may be a little slower replying to messages while I’m away, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! ❤️

One thing I wish someone had told me when I had my baby… 💛

Book that baby class. Find your people. Find a community of mums who are going through the same things as you and who can support you, your baby and you.

Because sometimes you don’t realise just how much you need that little village until you find it. 🥹✨

The friendships, the reassurance, the shared experiences and watching your little one grow alongside their new friends… it really is so special.
