Heading to Uni in September for the first time? You are eligible for a Meningitis B vaccine -two doses 4 weeks apart . Meningitis B is a deadly bacterial infection that can spread amongst new contacts in University Halls and accommodation. Babies have been vaccinated against this disease for 10 years now, but our young teenage population have not been, and are most vulnerable in those first few weeks of their new adventure.
If you are waiting your A level /Tech results and planning for university in September, please consider this vaccine and contact the surgery to arrange an appointment
