the financial burden for families
at a very difficult time.

Acknowledgement of thanks for the late
Eamon Mc Cann.
May He Rest In Peace.

We, Ann, Rory, Veronica, Emer and Conor Mc Cann, the family of the late Eamon Mc Cann, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of our wonderful relatives, friends and kind neighbours, who supported us so faithfully during the final stages of Eamon’s illness and his subsequent death, wake and funeral.

Thank you to everyone who attended the wake, funeral service or burial as well as those who sent cards, brought floral tributes or donated to the Foyle hospice and offered sympathy to us. Thanks also, to all who contributed to or helped with the refreshments during the wake, to Brendan and his sons for preparing St. Peter’s hall and to the staff of Curran’s Bakery for their exceptional service at the post funeral refreshments.
We are deeply appreciative of your kindness and goodness.

We are deeply grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of Roe Family Practice, the Marie Curie Group, the Foyle Hospice Staff, the District Nurses, the respiratory team and all who offered such constant, considerate and uplifting support to Eamon when most needed.
Special thanks to present and past priests of Dungiven Parish, in particular Fr. Sweeney, Fr. Kelly and Fr. Mongan, for their wonderful spiritual support and visits throughout his illness and, importantly, in his final days. His Requiem Mass was a refreshing celebration of a life well lived.
We also pay a special tribute to Maeve and Aoife for the beautiful music, which so enhanced the liturgy.

Deepest thanks, also, to Brendan and Thomas O’Brien, Funeral Directors, for their professional and compassionate handling of all the funeral arrangements and to Sean Mullan, gravedigger, for his preparation of Eamon’s final resting place.
Thanks to all readers, lay ministers, the sacristan, Caroline, traffic controllers, gift bearers, pall bearers, those providing land for parking and all who contributed in any way.
As we could not thank everyone individually, we hope that you will accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deepest appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.

Eamon’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew’s Church, Drumsurn, on Sunday August 9th at 10:15am.
