✨️Meet the team Tuesday✨️
We’re proud to introduce Gill one of our caring Funeral Arrangers/ Plan Consultants
With kindness, understanding, and a calm approach Gill supports families through every step of arranging and planning a meaningful farewell for loved ones. From the very first conversation, she is there to listen, guide, and help create a service that truly reflects the life being remembered.
Gill worked in Local Government for 26 years, managing the Local Land Charges Service and taking responsibility for Street Naming and Numbering, something she was always passionate about.
She always said if she no longer worked for a Local Authority, she wanted to do something that she wouldn’t want to retire from and 5 years ago, after experiencing her own journey of loss and being made redundant, she was fortunate to be offered an opportunity with Priestley and Cockett, where she has found that role.
“I am privileged to be able to help people who want to arrange their own funeral, whether that is for their own peace of mind or, as I hear so many times, they want to make sure their families are looked after when they are no longer here. We know only too well the one thing we cannot have taken from us is our memories and to be able to help families arrange a final farewell that reflects the life they lived and to share those memories with families is one of the greatest honours bestowed on us”.
Outside the office her garden is her happy place. She loves spending quality time with family and friends, enjoying good food and wine, walking in nature, or going to concerts and events, making new memories while remembering the ones already made.
Thank you, Gill, for the comfort and care you give to the families who place their trust in us. 🤍
