A solar eclipse is an amazing sight, but looking directly at the Sun, even during an eclipse, can cause serious and permanent damage to your eyes.
☑️ Only use CE/UKCA-marked eclipse glasses that are specifically designed for solar viewing.
☑️ Never look at the Sun through regular sunglasses, cameras, binoculars or telescopes. They do not provide enough protection.
☑️ Check your eclipse glasses for scratches or damage before use.
☑️ Supervise children closely and make sure they understand the importance of protecting their eyes.
Remember: There is no safe amount of time to look directly at the Sun without proper protection.
