💊 Inspiring the next generation of pharmacy professionals!

Our latest Aspiring Pharmacy event gave young people from across Lincolnshire the chance to step into the world of pharmacy and discover the many rewarding career paths available within the profession.

From dispensing skills and formulation to medicines reconciliation, attendees gained valuable insight into life as part of a pharmacy team.

Students also took part in a half-day acute care work experience placement, providing valuable first-hand experience in a hospital setting.

💬 “I enjoyed speaking to the different professionals about their experiences and how they got here, as they all had very different paths.”

A huge thank you to all our pharmacy colleagues from Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust who helped inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

This week, we hosted our Aspiring Dietitians virtual event

Aspiring dietitians aged 15 to 20 recently took part in an interactive online careers event, discovering what it's really like to work in dietetics and exploring the many pathways into this rewarding profession.

From quizzes and case studies to hearing directly from student and qualified dietitians, attendees gained first-hand insight into careers that translate the science of food and nutrition into practical advice and support to improve people's health and wellbeing.

🦷 What does it take to become a dentist?
Students from across Lincolnshire found out at our recent Aspiring Dentists event at Lincoln County Hospital!

From meeting experienced dentists to trying hands-on clinical skills including alginate impressions, composite fillings, special care dentistry, and orthodontics, attendees gained a real insight into the profession.

A huge thank you to the Lincolnshire Local Dental Committee for helping inspire the next generation of dental professionals and providing valuable insight into the world of dentistry and the journey into the profession.
