"Is using a GLP-1 medication for weight loss cheating?"

My answer is a simple no.

For some people, these medications have been life-changing and have given them the helping hand they needed to get started.

That doesn't mean Slimming World can't help too. The support, accountability, healthy habits and behaviour changes we work on are such an important part of any weight loss journey, whatever path you choose.

At Slimming World, everyone is welcome. There is absolutely no judgement. Many people lose weight successfully following the plan alone, while others feel they need a little extra support alongside it – and that's okay too.

We're all working towards the same goal: a healthier, happier you. ❤️

Just to clarify, members using GLP-1 medications aren't eligible for Slimmer of the Week or Slimmer of the Month, as their weight loss is considered medically enhanced, the same as members who have had weight loss surgery. However, all other awards and achievements can still be celebrated and earned! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Natasha, who has achieved her 1 Stone Award at Slimming World Birchwood! 🎉🏆

We're incredibly proud of everything she has achieved so far. What makes today's success even more special is the determination and commitment she showed to get to group. Being carless today didn't stop Natasha from attending. She caught a bus from one side of town to the other because she was determined to be there and celebrate her achievement with us.

That kind of dedication is exactly what brings amazing results, and Natasha is proving that every step counts. Well done, Natasha! We can't wait to see what you achieve next. 💕👏
