What have I got on my nails this week and how I repaired my broken natural nail so I didn’t have to file it down.
I have grown my nails firstly by using gel polish to keep them from getting chipped and keep the polish lasting longer.
The last few weeks I have gone for natural nail varnish and am a little obsessed with the gold colours at the moment.
I was doing so well with my nails till I broke one on just one side low down where the white smile line starts.
How did I fix my natural nail?
💅🏻A little trick I learnt years ago. Great for natural nails.
Have you ever tried the quick tissue fix? I grabbed some nail glue, tore a little piece of tissue placed glue over the break then a layer of tissue another layer of glue then tissue and glue again. It dries almost like the old fibreglass nails. Then buffed lightly to make it smooth. Re polished and ready to go. This quick fix should last a little while now. And you cannot see where the break was. 🙂
Alternatively I would use acrylic on the one nail if it was worse.
