🚶♂️ Does your back hurt after walking?
You set off feeling fine…
but after 10, 20 or 30 minutes, your lower back starts to ache, tighten, or feel heavy.
Sound familiar?
The good news is this: walking is not necessarily the problem.
Very often, back pain after walking is a sign that your body is struggling with one of three things:
✅ Stiffness
✅ Weakness
✅ Irritation
For example, your hips may be stiff, your glutes may not be doing enough work, or your back may already be irritated and simply needs the right amount of movement, not too much, not too little.
One of the biggest mistakes people make is stopping walking completely.
But that can lead to less strength, less confidence, and a back that becomes even more sensitive over time.
In my latest video on the Gav Noble 10X Physio Channel, I explain:
✅ Why your back may hurt after walking
✅ The 5 most common causes
✅ Why stiff hips and weak glutes can overload your back
✅ The mistake that can keep you stuck for months
✅ A simple self-check to help you work out what may be going on
