Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust Goes Live with Cirdan’s LIS system, ULTRA

Following on from the successful implementation of ULTRA for Cellular Pathology in December 2025, last week, Cirdan’s dedicated team was onsite to support the successful go-live of ULTRA across several disciplines, including Immunology, Molecular, Transfusion Medicine, Coagulation Optimisation, Haematology, Biochemistry, Cellular Pathology, Microbiology, and Virology.

This milestone is a testament to the continued strong collaboration, commitment, and hard work shown by both teams throughout the project.

Celebrating Excellence in AI Research: David Armstrong Receives QUB EEECS Paper Award!

Cirdan are delighted to announce that our colleague and Senior AI Engineer David Armstrong has been recognised for his outstanding research in Artificial Intelligence at Queen's University Belfast, and has been awarded the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EEECS) Paper award!

This award, presented by the QUB - School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Postgraduate Research Committee, honours postgraduate researchers who achieve publication in top-tier academic venues. Specifically, it recognises papers accepted to highly ranked conferences classified as A*/A under the ERA framework or A1/A2 under the Qualis system: a benchmark of excellence in global research.
