On Tuesday we had an amazing visit from the guys at Streetwise Community Circus. What a fun filled afternoon we had!!

We had a go at every from plate spinning to juggling and lots in-between, the day room was filled with laughter and a bit of friendly competition seeing who could master tasks first.

Thank you to Gareth from Lisburn City Council for helping make this activity possible and of course a big thank you to the guys from Streetwise Community Circus for all the fun and encouragement. It was amazing to see how much pleasure came from this visit, and lovely to see everyones faces when they realised that they had mastered the task that was set. We look forward to hopefully seeing yous again soon.

What a fantastic night we had tonight! We were outside cheering on all the runners as they passed by Woodgrove, we handed out over 200 bottles of water, waved our homemade banners and danced to some good music!!

We would like to thank Gail at Eurospar Laganvalley for supplying us with water to hand out, your support is greatly appreciated by not only us but also by all the runners who gratefully received a bottle.

Thank you to everyone that passed by and stopped for a chat and waved from your cars, it made everyone smile.

To all that took part in the races tonight including our manager Zoe, yous done amazing!! You should all be very proud of yourselves ❤️

As many of you know, we have a greenhouse this year and have been trying hard to grow tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, strawberries and a few other bits. Well today, our lettuce are ready to eat and Dawn, our chef, has prepared a lovely salad in the kitchen to use in sandwiches. How exciting that everyone is getting to try something that we have grown from tiny seeds!!
Hopefully we will have more homegrown veg to come soon. Well done to the residents that have helped out with gardening club ❤️
