El Shammah Residential Home in Lisburn is recruiting:
Care Assistant: 8 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 10 pm shifts. Three or four shifts per week.
Housekeeper: 8 am to 3 pm. Three to five shifts per week (negotiable), mainly Monday to Friday.

It is always sad when a resident has to transfer from our home, particularly when they have been with us for so long. Coupled with this, someone who has always been so kind and polite. We also say goodbye to a lovely family, who we were always happy to see and welcome in our home. Thank you so much for the card and kind words, and an extremely generous gift, (not forgetting all the gifts over the years). We will be thinking about you and hope that everything goes well in the new home.

There is always anticipation when we book an entertainer for the first time, and we were not disappointed on Friday. Julie-Anne performed a list of great songs and is an amazing singer. I hope the recordings do her voice justice. We hope Julie-Anne will visit again soon.
