🏃‍♀️💙 From 5am training runs to Southampton Run Festival glory! 💙🏃‍♀️

A HUGE congratulations to our Managing Partner, Claire Rich, at The Park Surgery, who took on the Southampton Run Festival on Sunday 16th August to raise money for BEAT, the UK’s Eating Disorder Charity. 🎉

And here’s the best part… Claire has raised an incredible £703 so far — and the total is still climbing! 🙌👏

Claire wasn’t a runner before taking on this challenge, but she committed to five weeks of training, including those rather heroic 5am runs! 🌅🏃‍♀️ Talk about dedication!

We’re incredibly proud of Claire for taking on such a fantastic challenge, pushing herself out of her comfort zone and raising much-needed funds for such an important charity. ❤️

Dear Patients,

We are pleased to introduce our new Patient Kiosk, designed to help you manage your health quickly and conveniently.

Using the kiosk, you can:

- Check and record your blood pressure, height, and weight
- Complete health questionnaires
- Have your results automatically and securely saved to your medical record instantly

We encourage all patients to visit the practice and complete the General Health Check questionnaire.

If you require any assistance using the Patient Kiosk, please speak to a member of our Reception team, who will be happy to help.

The Patient Kiosk is located to the left of the entrance as you enter the surgery.

It's set to get very hot this weekend. An amber heat-health alert is in effect until 8pm on Tuesday 23 June across the South East.

Heat can be tough on older people, babies, young children, and anyone with a long-term health condition - so let's look out for each other.

Quick ways to stay safe:

🧴 Wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen outside
⏰ Avoid the sun 11am-3pm
🏃 Save exercise for cooler mornings/evenings
