August is National Wellness Month – a great reminder to take a little time for your wellbeing.

Looking after your wellbeing doesn't have to mean doing anything strenuous. Even small activities can make a big difference to how you feel.

Whether it's enjoying a gentle walk, spending time in the garden, listening to your favourite music, doing some light stretches, or simply sitting outside for some fresh air, taking a few moments for yourself can help lift your mood and reduce stress.

Taking time to chat with family or friends, reading a book, completing a puzzle, reminiscing over old photographs, or enjoying a favourite hobby can also support your emotional wellbeing.

Remember, it's the little things we do regularly that often have the biggest impact on our health and happiness.

What's one small thing that helps you feel relaxed or brings a smile to your face?

This , we are celebrating the incredible carers who make life better for the clients they support.

What makes a great carer?

While training and experience are important, it's often the personal qualities that make the biggest difference. Whether it’s a smile that brightens someone's day, having patience during difficult moments, or a genuine desire to help others, these qualities can have a lasting impact.

Thank you to our carers for everything you do ❤️

Think you'd make a great carer? If you share these qualities and are interested in a career in care, contact us today.

Good Care Month 💜

Great care goes beyond meeting immediate needs, it provides the right support when it's needed most. That's where respite care can make a real difference.

Respite care provides short-term, temporary support, helping individuals continue to receive safe, high-quality care in a supportive environment.

For family carers, respite care offers the chance to rest and recharge, helping to prevent burnout. For those receiving care, it can provide opportunities to socialise with new people and enjoy new experiences, all while maintaining their independence.

Forty households across Chichester and Worthing opened their front doors to us this year.

Sixty members of our team walked through those doors.

That is the real award. The judges simply put it into words.

We are incredibly proud to be named Best Nursing Care Provider at the 2026 West Sussex Business Awards.

Thank you to our office team, care colleagues and nurses; to the people we support; and to every family who has trusted us to care for someone they love.

✨ Good Care Month ✨

Choosing the right homecare service for yourself or a loved one is an important decision to make.

So what does good care really look like?

• Listening and understanding.
• Promoting independence.
• Respecting dignity, choice, and individuality.
• Building meaningful relationships.
• Providing person-centred support.
• Compassion and respect.

Some jobs you clock in and out of. This isn't one of them.

We're looking for a Care Planner in Littlehampton— the person behind the scenes who makes sure every one of our clients gets the right carer, at the right time, every single day. It's part puzzle-solver, part people-person, all heart.

You'll thrive here if you're brilliantly organised, calm when the day gets busy, and you genuinely care that the little things are done right.

What you'll get back: paid training, holiday pay, a Blue Light Card, real progression, and a small, close team that actually has your back.

Today we are recognising Learning Disability Week, and this year’s theme ‘do you see me’.

This theme highlights the challenges people with disabilities face every day and ensuring they are actively seen, heard, and included in society.

While progress has been made, many still face challenges such as:

- Fewer employment opportunities
- Barriers in accessing spaces and services
- Negative stereotypes

Let’s continue to create a society where everyone feels valued and supported.

Today, our Complex Care Nurse, Marie Wheeler, led a practical training session for our care team, helping staff strengthen the specialist skills needed to support clients with complex healthcare needs safely and confidently.

Continuous professional development is at the heart of what we do. Through regular clinical training, competency assessments, and hands-on learning, we ensure our team stays knowledgeable, confident, and equipped to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care.

A well-trained workforce means safer care delivery, greater staff confidence, improved client outcomes, and consistent, high-quality support for those with complex needs.

Thank you, Marie, for sharing your expertise and supporting the ongoing development of our team.
