🎉✨ Happy 4th Birthday to Unity Lives Ltd! ✨🎉

Today we’re celebrating four incredible years of growth, achievement, and making a difference.
As we reflect on the past year, we’re so proud of everything we’ve accomplished together – from the awards we’ve won, to the amazing days out and experiences enjoyed by the people we support, and the many personal milestones they have achieved along the way. Every success story reminds us why we do what we do.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated staff team, who go above and beyond every single day to deliver outstanding care and support. Your compassion, commitment, and hard work are at the heart of everything we achieve, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. 🩵💗

As we look ahead to the next year, we’re excited to continue growing, creating opportunities, and supporting even more people to live fulfilling lives.

Now, it’s time to celebrate! 🥳 We can’t wait to see everyone at our Unity birthday party later today.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our
journey so far!! Heres to another year of growth! 🎂🎈

🎢☀️ What a fantastic day out!

This week, some of the people we support and our staff enjoyed an amazing trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. From thrilling rides and plenty of laughter to taking lots of photos and spending quality time together, it was a day full of fun and friendship.

It was wonderful to see new friendships being made, memories being created, and everyone enjoying themselves. We rounded off the day with a well-earned dinner together before heading home.

Swipe through to see some of our favourite moments from the day – including a few hilarious ride photos! 📸😂

As today is her last day with us, we’d also like to say a huge thank you to Lottie, who has been completing her work experience with Unity Lives this week. Lottie helped put this post together (and we think she did a great job!!) and has been a fantastic help throughout her time with us. We wish her all the very best for the future and every success in whatever she chooses to do next. Thank you for all your hard work, Lottie! ⭐

Today is Autistic Pride Day, a day to celebrate autistic people, their identities, strengths, and contributions to our communities. 🧩🧠🫶

“Autism is Trending”, highlights an important reality. Autism is receiving more attention than ever before, but increased visibility does not always translate into meaningful support. Too many autistic people still face barriers when accessing services, opportunities, and understanding in the systems that are meant to support them.

At Unity Lives, we see every day how the right support can make a real difference. We are committed to working alongside autistic individuals, helping people build independence, achieve their goals, and live the lives they choose.

Today, we celebrate autistic pride while continuing to advocate for a world where recognition is matched by action, inclusion, and support. 🩷 Autistic Pride Day

This Learning Disability Week, we are proud to support the theme “Do You See Me?” 💜💪🏼

This year’s theme encourages us all to look beyond labels and truly recognise people with learning disabilities for who they are. It is about being seen, heard, valued and included in every part of community life.

Learning Disability Week is an important opportunity to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes and celebrate the achievements, talents and contributions of people with learning disabilities. Too often, barriers, misconceptions and a lack of understanding can prevent people from having equal opportunities and being fully included in society.

At Unity Lives, we believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and understanding. By taking the time to listen, learn and connect, we can help create communities where people with learning disabilities are recognised for their individuality, strengths and aspirations.

This week, we encourage everyone to reflect on the question: Do you see me? Not just as a person with a learning disability, but as a friend, colleague, neighbour, family member and valued member of society.

Together, we can build a more inclusive world where everyone is truly seen.

Yesterday marked World Blood Donor Day, a global opportunity to recognise and thank the incredible individuals who donate blood and help save lives every day.

This year’s theme, “One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.”, highlights the power of a simple act of kindness. A single donation can support patients undergoing surgery, receiving cancer treatment, managing long-term conditions, or recovering from emergencies.

At Unity Lives Ltd, we celebrate the generosity of blood donors and the vital role they play in strengthening communities and healthcare services. If you’re eligible to donate, consider making a difference. One donation can have a lasting impact on many lives.

Together, we can help ensure blood is available for those who need it most.

This Diabetes Awareness Week, we’re standing together to .

Living with diabetes comes with enough challenges without the added burden of judgment, misconceptions, or stereotypes. By raising awareness, sharing experiences, and supporting one another, we can help create a more understanding and inclusive community for everyone affected by diabetes.

At Unity Lives, we’re committed to challenging stigma, encouraging open conversations, and ensuring that no one feels alone in their journey. Together, we can replace assumptions with understanding and make a real difference.

💙 Join us this Diabetes Awareness Week and help strike out stigma.
