Today, we are proud to be here at Tesco Burscough supporting Dementia Friends Ambassador Joe Sherville as he continues his incredible fundraising efforts, raising vital funds for the Alzheimer’s Society and helping to make a difference for people living with dementia and their families.

Today is also a particularly meaningful occasion as we remember and pay tribute to Joe’s beloved wife, Sandra, who was such a wonderful supporter of Joe’s fundraising and also volunteered alongside Radfield Home Care in the local community. 💙

Sandra loved meeting people at Tesco and helping with fundraising days. Her warmth, kindness and genuine care for others touched so many people. The team at Tesco Burscough will undoubtedly miss seeing Sandra at the fundraising events, but her beautiful smile and the joy she brought to everyone she met will never be forgotten. ❤️

Sandra was a truly special lady who gave her time so generously to support others. Her legacy continues through Joe’s fundraising, the Dementia Friends community and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

🌟Radfield Home Care Brings Community Together at Social & Wellbeing Breakfast Club in Ormskirk, Lancashire🌟

The latest Radfield Home Care monthly Social & Wellbeing Breakfast Club will be held on Friday, 2nd October at the Toby Carvery in Ormskirk.

Guests will enjoy engaging conversations, plenty of laughter, and the opportunity to reconnect with friends while meeting new people in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

This event highlights the importance of social interaction in promoting wellbeing, reducing loneliness, and helping people remain active and connected within their local community.

Radfield Home Care is committed to helping people live independently and enjoy fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes. In addition to delivering high-quality home care services, the organisation provides a wide range of social opportunities designed to support wellbeing and community engagement.

That’s why we’re delighted to be supporting our fantastic community partner, The Fountains retirement and independent living in Ormskirk for their annual Macmillan Coffee Afternoon. 💚

It’s also an opportunity to encourage greater understanding, open conversations, and awareness of how dementia can affect individuals, families and loved ones.

With the right support, people living with dementia can continue to live well, maintain their independence, and stay connected to the people and things that matter most. 💙

Radfield Home Care will be supporting Dementia Friends Ambassador Joe Sherville with his fundraising at Tesco in Burscough on Saturday 19th September, from 9am to 3pm. 💙
