Reflecting on another wonderful, vibrant summer days which got cooler lately here at Old Park Nursing Home! ✨

Over the last days, we have been busy keeping our residents engaged, smiling, and active with a diverse schedule aimed to support and enrich every individual.

From outdoor sensory gardening sessions and expressive art therapy to interactive, cognitive-boosting games and uplifting live music entertainment, every moment is designed to promote well-being, comfort, and joy here at AltPark.

Our specialized approach focuses on meaningful engagement that respects each resident's pace and personal abilities, ensuring a safe, supportive, and homely environment where dignity and quality of life always come first.

Yesterday was a Spiritual Nourishment & Comfort Day and together at AltPark we facilitated a convenient onsite service led by Reverend Kate and Claire for spiritual enrichment, which provided residents with a comforting sense of community, routine, and emotional well-being.
It was about Calm Transition & Support: Following the meaningful service we ensured every participant was safely and comfortably seen back home to their rooms if preferred, promoting a peaceful and reassuring end to the session.
