👋 Have you been wondering where I've gone 🤣

Well, I'm still here, I'm now known as the Upcycle Therapist!

🌈 After nearly 17 years working as a therapist, I've stepped back from my therapy practice and given myself the time and space to explore and build something I've always loved and wanted to do.

☀️' I'm combining my love of upcycling, painting and creative expression and all those years of experience working therapeutically and creatively with adults and children.

I will be creating bold upcycle furniture along with commissions...But I'm also developing creative workshop's for adults, children and families 👨‍👧‍👧

I want to offer something fun, creative, connection and experimenting!

💜 When I'm painting and creating, that's my absolute happy place. There's no judgement, no right or wrong, just freedom to create and express.

🤩 30 + Years. 30,000 Clinical hours. Two lifelong friends. And a LOT of stories between us....🤣💓

When we first met and became friends all of those years ago, we're fairly certain neither of us thought:

"One day we'll be teaching Clinical Supervision together

👋 But here we are

Between us we've spent close to, if not more than 30 years within the counselling world. Accumulated around 30, 000 hours of clinical experience, worked with countless clients and students, navigated difficult bits, celebrated the breakthroughs along side building our own personal identities 🌸

And now we get to bring all of that together 💗

🤔 So what makes our Clinical Supervision training a little different....

We dont simply stand at the front of the room talking and teaching you models.

We want to show you what supervision actually feels like.

The moments when you don't know what to say.

The supervisee that challenges you.

The ethical dilemma that doesn't have a neat answer.

The conversation you'd really rather avoid.

The moment you suddenly think...

"Oh goodness. I'm the supervisor here!" 🤣

Because good supervision isn't about knowing everything.

Its about curiosity, courage, reflection, relationship and knowing when to ask another question.

And that's very much how we teach.

We bring different personalities, different experiences and different ways of looking at things, and we're not frightened of disagreeing with each other! In fact they are the moments of growth and connection 😊💗

Underneath it all is something we've shared for a very long time:

A friendship
A passion for counselling
A belief in good supervision
And a genuine love of helping other practioners grow.

Hence our slightly cheeky title....

Perhaps a trinket box, wooden tray, stool, plant stand or another little piece that's been waiting for a new lease of life, and together well transform it using colour, creativity and imagination.
