I always think there’s something so special about the connection between a mum and her little boy, especially in those first few years..

Before they really know how to regulate their own emotions, they borrow our calm. They know our voice, our touch, our smell, our presence, we are their safe place.

I love the idea that little boys spend those early years almost living within their mum’s energy ❤️

That’s why little moments like this mean so much to me. Massaging him, tickling his back, playing with his hair, letting him just completely relax with me.

I know he won’t always need me in the same way he does now, the thought of that breaks my heart 😩❤️

But I hope all these little moments teach his nervous system something he carries with him forever,

That he is safe.
That he is loved.
And that no matter how big he gets, Mum will always be home 🫂❤️

My baby girl, her little mind is always going 100mph. She’s excitable, loud, full of questions and has the biggest heart ♥️

Sometimes she can be misunderstood, when really she just feels everything so deeply! These little moments of calm mean everything, Just 50 seconds where her mind can slow down and it’s just me and her 🫂

I’d never want the world to dim the parts of her that make her Amaya, A beautiful vibrant child with a heart of gold, I love that I can connect with her this way ❤️

✨I’ve been thinking about this loads lately,
Why does it feel like babies are finding it so much harder to get Earth side these days? ❤️
I see so many women in my room who are doing everything they possibly can.
Trying for months, sometimes years.
Going through IVF.
Having losses.
Getting pregnant and then losing their baby.
Or just wondering why it seems to be taking so long.

There are very real physical and medical reasons why fertility can be difficult. I’m not taking away from any of that! Because of the work I do, I can’t help but look at the spiritual side of things too.

And sometimes I wonder..

Are the babies coming through now asking something different of us?

I don’t mean that you need to heal yourself before you deserve a baby, I actually really don’t like that idea. Women get pregnant in every kind of situation, and infertility is never a sign that you haven’t “done the work”.

Just look at our generation of women.
We’re questioning things our mums and grandmothers never got to question.

We’re talking about trauma.
We’re learning boundaries.
We’re leaving unhealthy relationships.
We’re talking about miscarriage and infertility instead of suffering quietly.
We’re reconnecting with our bodies and our cycles.

We’re breaking patterns that have probably been running through our families for generations.

Sometimes wonder if the little souls coming through now are part of that change too.
Maybe they’re not just coming into a family.

✨Maybe they’re coming into a completely different version of that family line✨

And WOW, the fertility journey can change a woman massively.
It can bring up grief, anger, fear, control, relationships, your connection with your body, everything.

Saying this, DOESN’T mean there’s a lesson you need to learn before your baby arrives.

Sometimes s**t things happen and there isn’t a beautiful spiritual explanation for it.

But I do believe there can still be something sacred in the space between wanting your baby and finally meeting them.
I really do wonder if some of the babies trying to get Earth side at the moment are part of a generation that’s going to be very different from the ones before them. 🌙

I created The Womb Works over 2 years ago now, I didn’t realised just how special it was going to become 🌿

It started as a treatment to support women with their wombs, cycles, fertility and those trying to conceive. I combined some of the most powerful therapies I’d been taught over the years. Acupuncture, then an extra course in Gynaecology, Infertility and IVF support, Massage, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Womb Reiki.. then through working so close with people, I really began to tap into the energetics. Little messages here and there, being able to read what each women’s body is telling me without them saying.

I’ve watched women get their positive pregnancy tests,
I’ve supported women through IVF, loss, difficult cycles and the emotional rollercoaster that can come with trying for a baby ❤️

I’ve also realised something along the way, Women aren’t coming to me because they need fixing, they need holding, they need space, they need to be listened to.

They need somewhere they can come in, close the door and not have to be everything to everyone for an hour.

A space to unclench their jaw.
Drop their shoulders.
Switch their brain off.
Cry if they need to.
Talk if they need to.
Or say absolutely nothing at all.

The Womb Works brings together acupuncture, Reiki, Womb Reiki, neck & jaw release and all the little intuitive bits I’ve added and changed over the years depending on what the woman in front of me needs, and it’s still changing today!

Because no two women who get on my bed need exactly the same thing.

Over 2 years later and this is still one of my absolute favourite treatments to give.

Not just because of the babies that have come afterwards, because of the women who’ve walked out of my room feeling a little bit lighter, softer and more powerful!

Sometimes being held and your ears massaged is the healing too 🤣🌿

It’s so easy to neglect yourself
Easy to stop grooming yourself and make an effort
Easy to stop eating nutritious foods that fuel you
Easy to convince yourself you’ll get back to “You” one day.

You forget what laughter is
You forget what a settled nervous system feels like
You forget you..

If this you, start small, make yourself one promise that you’ll keep at.. wether it be, washing and blowing your hair, meeting up with friends, food prepping healthier foods, small meditations, longer bath soaks, Fresh air!.. just absolutely anything that keeps you from losing whilst you’re surviving 💫

Have you ever noticed how hard it is to heal when your body never truly feels safe?

This is why I often include gentle ear massage in my treatments.

Around the ear are branches of the vagus nerve, which helps regulate your nervous system. When we gently stimulate this area, we’re encouraging the body to move away from stress and survival mode and towards rest, repair and healing.

You might notice your breathing slow down, your shoulders soften, your jaw unclench or simply feel a sense of calm.

Whether you’re trying to conceive, living with chronic stress, navigating grief, burnout or simply carrying the weight of everyday life, your nervous system deserves just as much care as the rest of you.

Healing begins with helping your body feel safe enough to let go.
