6 Months Flare-Up Free: Achieving Remission in Multi-Branch Trigeminal Neuralgia.

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is widely regarded as one of the most agonizing and clinically challenging neuropathies to manage. When a patient presents with multi-branch involvement where lightning-bolt pain tracks across both the maxillary (V₂/upper teeth) and mandibular (V₃/jaw and chin) pathways, general treatment protocols often fall short.

I am incredibly proud to share a major milestone from my practice. A severe, multi-branch TN patient is now 6 months completely flare-up free, having successfully transitioned through a structured tapering schedule down to a 6-weekly maintenance plan.

For many practitioners, treating volatile facial pain carries a high risk of accidentally triggering an acute attack. By moving away from generic textbook approaches and developing a specialized, non-triggering electroacupuncture protocol, I was able to safely down-regulate the hyperactive nerve trunk and stabilize the facial pain gates.

To maintain continuity of care between appointments, this clinical intervention was paired with a targeted, patient-managed auricular home-care protocol to act as a 24/7 sensory shield.

The result is a complete restoration of the patient's quality of life and long-term neural stability.
Achieving predictable results with complex cranial nerve conditions requires a deep fusion of Western neuro-anatomy, precise needle vectors, and exact electrical dosage.

I am currently finalizing the clinical case studies, safety frameworks, and proprietary electro parameters from this successful protocol into a structured postgraduate training curriculum for The Institute of Advanced Clinical Acupuncture, officially launching in January 2027.

You don't have to feel ill to feel like something isn't quite right…

Do you ever have those days where you just feel meh?

What a busy few weeks it’s been at the clinic!

It’s been such a pleasure seeing all of my lovely patients, both new faces and regulars who keep coming back. 💚

When do we decide our health deserves our attention?

For some, acupuncture is part of staying well, supporting better sleep, reducing stress, easing aches and pains, and helping the body stay in balance year round.
