Sometimes healing begins with a quiet moment, a cup of tea, and a safe conversation.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but support doesn’t always mean travelling to an office or sitting in an unfamiliar room. For many people, healing starts in the comfort and privacy of their own home.

Online counselling provides a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, grief, relationships, low self-esteem, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, you don’t have to carry it alone.

You don’t need to have all the answers.
You don’t need to be in crisis.
You simply need a space where you can be heard, understood, and supported.

Because healing doesn’t always happen in a therapy room.

Sometimes it begins exactly where you are. 🧡

So many of us spend years feeling like we don’t quite fit.

Not in our families, not in our friendships, not in the bodies or the labels the world handed us when we were young.

For some people, that feeling has a name - or several. Coming to understand you’re neurodivergent, or that your identity doesn’t sit neatly within what society expected of you, can be both a relief and a grief all at once. Because suddenly so much makes sense. And yet there’s still the question: where do I go from here?

But you don’t have to belong to a particular group to know what it feels like to carry something quietly. To wonder whether the real version of you - the one beneath the roles, the masks, the years of adapting - would be accepted if people could see her.

That question is one of the most human things there is.

In counselling, we create a space to sit with it. Not to fix it or rush you to an answer, but to help you look honestly at who you are - without judgement, without an agenda.

Sometimes finding where you fit starts with someone simply sitting with you in the uncertainty.

If that resonates, you’re welcome here.

Sometimes people come to counselling knowing logically that they are safe… yet their body still reacts with anxiety, overwhelm, tension, panic, or exhaustion.

This is why I’ve become increasingly drawn to nervous system regulation and mind-body approaches alongside talking therapy.

Because healing is not always just about understanding the mind.
Sometimes the body needs support to feel safe again too.

Stress, trauma, burnout, grief, and long periods of emotional pressure can leave the nervous system stuck in survival mode - fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown.

Within counselling, we can begin exploring grounding, breathwork, emotional regulation, and greater awareness of how the nervous system responds to stress and overwhelm.

For those wanting deeper specialist somatic work, I’m also able to signpost or refer to fully trained and qualified somatic practitioners where appropriate.

Sometimes the body is carrying what the mind is trying so hard to cope with alone.
