But what does this actually look like?

When Mr X noticed changes in a mole, he contacted Clinic Savoir and was offered an appointment the very next day with a GP who has a special interest in dermatology.

From the moment he arrived at Savoir’s Ramsey clinic, the team understood his concerns, including his family history of skin cancer. After assessing the mole, the GP arranged a fast review with Savoir’s Consultant Plastic Surgeon, keeping the process joined up and costs as low as possible.

Following a video consultation, Mr X chose to have surgery at Savoir and was offered a theatre slot within a few days.

Before surgery, the team answered his questions, completed some checks, and made sure he knew exactly what to expect.

These checks identified an unexpected abnormal heart rhythm. Savoir’s clinicians acted quickly, involving the Plastic Surgeon, Cardiologist and Anaesthetist to confirm it was safe to proceed while arranging follow-up cardiac care.

Mr X had his surgery as planned and received a follow-up call later that evening. Within weeks, results confirmed the mole had pre-cancerous changes but had been completely removed.
